IBA (Ion Beam Applications S.A.) and the Institute Curie in Paris, France, announced the signature of an agreement for the manufacturing, delivery, installation and maintenance of a new research beam line. This line will be connected to the existing beam transport line. This agreement also includes future research projects to be performed jointly by the two organizations over the coming 10 years.

July 5, 2016 — A study appearing in the July 5 issue of JAMA assessed the association between gadolinium exposure and parkinsonism, a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system characterized by tremor and impaired muscular coordination.
