GE Healthcare announced 510(k) clearance from U.S. FDA for OEC 3D, a new surgical imaging system capable of 3-D and 2-D imaging. OEC 3D will set a standard for interoperative 3-D imaging with precise volumetric images for spine and orthopedic procedures. This new system combines the benefits and familiarity of 2-D imaging with greater efficiency to increase access and usability to 3-D.

This AI app from Lunit is awaiting final FDA review and in planned to be integrated into several vendors' mobile digital radiography (DR) systems. Fujifilm showed this software integrated as a work-in-progress into its mobile X-ray system at RSNA 2019. GE Healthcare has its own version of this software for its mobile r=ray systems that gained FDA in 2019.   #RSNA #
