Estes Park Medical Center (Estes Park, Colo.) recently upgraded its diagnostic imaging department with high-resolution portable and room-based digital radiography systems from Carestream Health. The hospital also has Carestream Vue PACS (picture archiving and communication system) for enterprise image management and medical images from all modalities are stored on a Carestream Vue Archive.

Samsung NeuroLogica recently announced that the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center in Sacramento, Calif., added the BodyTom computed tomography (CT) scanner to its brachytherapy suite. BodyTom is the world’s first portable, full-body, 32-slice CT scanner, according to the company.
