XStream HDVR Web App Builder

Fovia Inc. recently introduced the addition of XStream HDVR Web App Builder to its software development kit (SDK) portfolio. By combining Fovia's advanced volume rendering capabilities with a robust set of web-based developer tools, original equipment manufacturers can quickly deliver browser-based 3-D imaging products to the medical, dental, industrial, geoscience, bioscience and life science markets.

According to a recent study by the Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute, the last two decades have seen a substantial decline in new enteral access procedures in the Medicare population. The study, published online in November in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR), also found that maintenance services have increased, with radiologists and emergency physicians surpassing gastroenterologists and surgeons as the leading providers of those procedures.

January 10, 2017 — The TeraMedica Division of Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. announced the release of Synapse VNA (vendor neutral archive) version 6.2, the next generation of its enterprise-wide medical information and image management solution, at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2016 conference and exhibition.
