Aspect Imaging announced last week that it received CE marking for the neonatal-dedicated Embrace Neonatal Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) System, which enables preparation and scanning of newborns without having to transport them from the NICU. Embrace Neonatal MRI can now be used and sold in EU countries and in non-EU countries that rely on CE certification.

Carestream Health will show its new Carestream DRX-Revolution Nano Mobile X-ray System at the upcoming Radiological Society of North America tradeshow, Nov. 26-Dec. 1 in Chicago. This system uses carbon nanotube technology to deliver significantly reduced size and weight when compared to existing mobile X-ray systems. It is scheduled for availability in 2018 and currently is not available for sale.

November 10, 2017 — Imaging for Women, a leading radiology center in Kansas City, Mo., announced it is now using iCAD’s PowerLook Tomo Detection, an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology, to support faster and more accurate detection of breast cancer.

First Look MRI, an imaging provider based in Hoschton, Ga., has successfully implemented a full suite of eRAD technology. The implementation included eRAD RIS (radiology information system), Speech Recognition, picture archiving and communication system (PACS), patient and physician portals, and RADAR, eRad’s secure communications platform.

Kubtec announced it will be showcasing new image analytics capabilities on its advanced tomosynthesis specimen imaging systems for breast cancer at the 2017 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) conference, Nov. 26-Dec. 1 in Chicago.
