June 4, 2012 Claron Technology introduces NilFeed, an image sharing extension for its family of Nil medical image viewers that enables easy, flexible communications among unrelated sites. Nil viewers, which include both diagnostic and referring physician offerings, run within a browser on any Web-enabled device. Using NilFeed, a Nil site can now collaborate easily and securely with any external medical facility, whatever its imaging infrastructure, without setting up and maintaining a dedicated VPN connection. A remote site can upload or download a DICOM study from a Nil server using only secure HTTPS protocol.

The high brightness of 1,200 cd/m2 enables the 5 MP RadiForce GX530 monitor to offer a long usage time guarantee of 40,000 hours. With dual-link input support, monitors achieve a clock frequency of 50 Hz, even when displaying in high resolution. This enables smooth response when adjusting window level or width through the DICOM viewer application, compared to single-link connection. Additional features include the integrated front sensor for self-calibration and the integrated presence sensor for energy savings.

Double Black Imaging will highlight its X-Series LCD line with X-CAL Web. This line includes a 2MP monochrome and high-bright color, a 3MP monochrome and high-bright color, a 5MP monochrome and new 10MP monochrome LCD with FDA 510(k) clearance for mammography.
