November 23, 2011 — Three Palm Software and Matakina International Ltd. announced that WorkstationOne, a breast imaging workstation from Three Palm Software, is now integrated with the Volpara breast density software from Matakina.
Several features/plug-ins have been added to aycan’s OsiriX PRO workstation to significantly expand its functionality. The new features will be showcased at Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2012, including the new aycan mobile iPad app, advanced hanging protocols, vessel analysis, 4-D ROI statistics and ejection fraction.
Aycan Medical Systems will highlight its latest vendor-neutral archiving, viewing, printing, and integration solutions and services designed to improve workflow efficiency and drive down costs, at this year’s RSNA, including aycan mobile iPad app.
November 23, 2011 — Vidar Systems Corp. — a subsidiary of the Contex Group — announced it will be acquired by 3D Systems Corp. Fellow subsidiary Z Corp. will also be sold to 3D Systems; the total comes to $137 million in cash.
