November 30, 2011 — medQ has unveiled its Critical Test Result Management (CTRM) module, version 2.0. The module is fully automated and embedded in the Q/RIS VR-based dictation program. Radiologists will be able to assess the severity of the diagnosis and quickly contact the ordering physician to notify of the condition.

November 30, 2011 –– Parascript, the image analysis and pattern recognition technology provider, announced the release of AccuDetect 5.0, the next generation of its computer-aided detection (CAD) software, aimed at helping radiologists improve breast cancer detection. November 30, 2011 — Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc., launched the Aplio 500 ultrasound system, enabling clinicians to diagnose using advanced visualization tools. The system is 510(k) cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and displayed at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago, Nov. 27 – Dec. 2.
