November 5, 2008 – McKesson said today that it has signed a distribution agreement with Swissray International Inc. to sell Swissray’s DR technology in addition to the Horizon Medical Imaging PACS. Together the systems provide imaging departments and centers with enhanced workflow and performance capabilities to speed the patient care process, according to McKesson.

(a Bracco Group company), signed a distribution agreement for the StatSensor Creatinine Meter with Nova Biomedical, in which the ACIST and Nova teams will co-exclusively market and distribute the StatSensor Creatinine Meter into the medical fields of radiology and cardiology within North America.

November 3, 2008 - Using single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), researchers in France were able to detect functional abnormalities in certain regions in the brains of patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia, reinforcing the idea that symptoms of the disorder are related to a dysfunction in those parts of the brain where pain is processed.
