And the Survey Says …

Changing seasons

As we come upon the calendar’s mid-year mark, it is time once again for the ITN team to begin its annual strategic planning for 2025. And we’d like to hear from you. By now, you have probably noticed the new content features ITN introduced this year, including the One on One … multimedia interview series, where we’ve held deep-dive discussions with respected industry professionals on impactful issues and initiatives. Also, on the final page of each print issue, we offer a snapshot of fresh facts and figures, the Last Read. Both are products of audience input to give viewers more of what they find valuable.

Because of their popularity, we want to ask a few more questions to find out what else you want to see covered. Our goal: take the pulse of readers like you to identify what helps you stay on top of trends, products and clinical trials. Our metrics show the Comparison Charts and our News and Products sections — on IT/AI, Imaging, Women’s Health and Radiation Oncology — are always popular. What other key business information do you need to help make your role more successful?

To that end, we’ve launched a bimonthly survey. It takes only a few minutes, and will provide the ITN team with valuable feedback about your business coverage needs. A new survey will be posted at the top of the month on itnonline, and via ITN’s social media channels. Additionally, a survey will be sent to a different random segment of our audience bi-monthly. The surveys can be anonymous, or you can provide your name. The data will only be reported in group form, and never for an individual. Survey results will be taken into careful consideration as we map out our coverage plans for 2025. We’re excited to hear from you!

Have an article idea? Our survey form also includes a section for feedback and suggestions. In a recent survey, a participant asked if we could outline our criteria for submitting articles. We welcome your input, and strive to work with industry experts both as interview subjects, and as authors of articles — who better to address industry issues than those who are living and breathing it? If you have an idea that you’d like to share, or topic that you want to write about, please send me a quick note, and l’ll send you our author guidelines.

In Memoriam

Cristen Bolan

It is with great sadness that the ITN team learned of the sudden passing of former Editor Cristen Bolan on June 17. Cristen worked on the brands from 2005-2010, before moving on to other industry related ventures. I personally had gotten to know Cristen earlier in both our careers as a colleague and friend at a different publishing company. As we both continued our paths in healthcare communications, it was always a pleasure to reunite with her during RSNA. Our team extends its sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
