October 20, 2017 — Surgeons at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have for the first time used a real-time, image-guided robot to insert screws into a patient’s spine. With last week’s surgery, Johns Hopkins joins the growing number of hospitals in the United States that offer robotic-assisted spine surgery.

October 20, 2017 — Edward-Elmhurst Health of Naperville, Ill., has installed four Carestream DRX-Evolution Plus and DRX-Evolution systems, two DRX-Ascend systems, three DRX-Revolution mobile X-ray systems and retrofitted nine rooms with Carestream DRX detectors. Two additional DRX mobile systems will be installed by year-end to complete its conversion to digital radiography (DR) technology.
