August 29, 2007 — Performance management solutions company SciHealth was named to the first-ever Inc. 5000 magazine list of the fastest growing privately held companies in the country.
SciHealth was ranked the 69th fastest growing software company, posting a 442 percent growth rate from 2003 to 2006.

August 29, 2007 — A disease management program that focuses on case management and interdisciplinary communication for chronically critically ill patients and their caregivers significantly reduced the cost of care after hospital discharge without increasing the hospital’s costs of delivering care, according to a report in the September issue of the American Journal of Critical Care.
People with chronic conditions account for most healthcare costs and caring for chronically critically ill persons carries the highest costs.

August 28, 2007 — Orbis Education announced it has implemented its first collaborative educational services solution in San Diego, CA, in conjunction with the University of Oklahoma, Southwestern College, San Diego State University, and Sharp HealthCare.

August 29, 2007 - Results of the first large scale study comparing the results of a particular digital mammography technology (Hologic Selenia) to women screened with film, were recently published in the August 2007 issue of European Radiology, comparing cancer detection and recall rates of 18,239 women screened with a Hologic Selenia digital mammography system to the results of 324,763 women screened with screen-film technology over a two year period.
