The RIS Concepts advanced exam-scheduling wizard for multisite facilities searches across locations to select the first appointment available for a specific modality. Neurostar will debut its 3D image processing functionality fully integrated into its Virtual Radiology Network (VRN) application as a location-free, pay-as-you-go application service provider offering. Radiologists can reportedly process multislice images anywhere and any time in a full range of protocols, including MPR, volume rendering, MIP, thin-slab and more.

Medicsight will be showing its ColonCAD product, integrated with a number of advanced visualization partners, including Vital Images, Viatronix, TeraRecon and Barco. The system reportedly offers a safe, rapid and minimally invasive means of imaging the entire colon. ColonCAD aims to release the full potential of CT colonography by improving the accuracy and productivity of detecting polyps in the colon.

Cedara Software will showcase its Advanced Segmentation technology that includes libraries for Lesion Contouring where tumor identification in US, CT, MG and MR is greatly simplified. Cedara Image Enhancement reportedly offers complete X-ray pipeline workflow improvements from image enhancement, shutter detection and removal, autostitching and optimum window display.

Agfa will feature its IMPAX Hospital Suite is designed to meet the needs of the hospital market, with scalability to fit a wide variance of sizes and workflows, including partnered sites sharing common patient domains.

InSite One Inc. will debut its InDex 5 digital medical archive that will contain new features created to improve enterprise workflow and management capabilities. InSite One has developed a roadmap to enhance the InDex Archive services preparing users for the future. The InDex 5 services will reportedly expand the tools to intelligently manage information for the life of clinical data.
