eXpedo recording systems automate and streamline the process of making medical CD/DVDs, which are replacing film as the preferred portable media form. Every eXpedo system utilizes customizable software that optimizes workflow and DISC production in a fast-paced imaging center environment. eXpedo allows the user to tailor information appended to Patient Reference CDs, including jpeg images, education and resource Web-links, facility-specific content or messages.

The new MammoPad breast cushion for digital mammography labeled “New for Digital,” is larger than other versions and is specifically designed to fit the larger surfaces of digital equipment. The new breast cushion has the same attributes and benefits of the entire MammoPad product line; the FDA-cleared, radiolucent foam cushion does not interfere with X-ray imaging of the breast. The cushion’s grip-like surface aids in positioning by helping to hold the breast in place.

The MASS Exchange Cart System is a full-size cart that is a mobile supply solution for organizing surgical units. Featuring 18-inch-by-18-inch ABS trays and wire baskets in 3-inch, 6-inch and 9-inch heights, the trays and baskets slide out on molded ABS side panels for restock.

The TRUMPF iLED uses 184 white and color LEDs to provide 160,000 Lux of low heat, virtually shadow-free illumination. One of its most unique features is that it gives the surgical team — for the first time ever — the ability to change color temperature.
Bathed in warm, nonglare light (about 3,500 Kelvin), skin and light tissue parts reflect less and the contrast remains intact. Colder light colors (up to 5,000 Kelvin), however, were preferred in tests for deeper lying body areas and for longer surgeries.
