The Invision health information system is now generally available, which contains platform, database and application upgrades to assist in streamlining information across clinical, financial and administrative functions.

Rubbermaid Medical Solutions (RMS) will showcase its new, ultra-small mobile computing cart platform at the HIMSS 2008 Conference.

With the launch of this new platform, RMS can now provide a full suite of mobile cart solutions for all areas of the acute care health system. It is designed for areas such as the ED, PACU, ambulatory and the OR.

The computing cart platform will be offered with the same service and support offered on the company’s medication cart line, including next business day resolution and an on-site technician when required.

Pedigo will display its new 750 Series patient transport stretcher, featuring a full stainless steel side-rail system with integrated push-pull handles and a weight capacity of 750 pounds. Tanita’s PW-630U wheelchair scale is designed with the patient’s needs in mind.

When standing the patient is supported by a stable handrail, when sitting by an integrated folded seat and in a wheelchair by a large platform (31-by-38 inches). The weight of the wheelchair is simply tared-away by the pre-tare function.

The Model 684 includes a stop barrier for the front wheels of a wheelchair as an additional safety feature.

Champion Manufacturing offers its popular swing-away arms on a medical recliner designed specifically for patients weighing 300 to 500 pounds.
