The Kimberly-Clark Ballard Trach Care Closed Suction System is designed to provide safe suction to patients on mechanical ventilation.

The closed suction system removes secretions from the airway while maintaining ventilation and oxygen therapy throughout the suctioning procedure. The Trach Care Closed Suction System provides protection to the caregiver from exposure to the patient’s body fluids and helps reduce potential risk of infection and cross contamination.

In November 2007 Kimberly-Clark launched its MICROCUFF Endotracheal Tube, an airway management device designed to reduce the leakage of potentially infectious secretions into the lungs.

April 17, 2008 - Virtual Radiologic acquired Diagna Radiology for $6 million in up-front cash and an additional $2.2 million in potential earn-out payments to be made over two years, expecting the acquisition to contribute between $3.0 million and $3.5 million in annual revenue during 2008, and to contribute between $4.0 million and $4.5 million in annual revenue during 2009.
