August 16, 2010 – The Fundação Instituto de Pesquisa e Estudo de Diagnóstico por Imagem (FIDI) in São Paulo, Brazil, is the first site in Latin America to add PACS/EHR connectivity software from PACSGEAR. With more than 300 physicians, FIDI is a non-profit organization that performs more than 3 million diagnostic imaging procedures each year.

August 13, 2010 - A needle guidance system was introduced for use with ultrasound platforms. SonoSite’s HFL50x transducer, coupled with the Civco Medical Solutions' Infiniti needle guidance system, is used in regional anesthesia imaging applications and shallow access biopsies to shorten procedure time and increase accuracy.
