Two new versions of the EMC Celerra platform are engineered to offer more flexibility and manageability. The mid-tier EMC Celerra NS350 and EMC Celerra NS704 integrated systems are the storage foundation of an IP-based information lifecycle management (ILM) strategy.

Vision Series Financials 7.0 is designed with the entire Vision Series suite of products and services in mind. Specifically, the release is expected to provide greater interoperability with Vision Series RIS and Document Management offerings. Additionally, 7.0 provides a large number of feature requests and enhancements designed to provide a greater degree of usability, flexibility and integration.

PicomRIS is a fully Web-based, IHE-compliant RIS that will complement the company’s flagship Web-based PicomEnterprise. The solution will be available as either a standalone RIS or fully integrated RIS/PACS and is for small acute care facilities and outpatient imaging centers.
PicomRIS by itself provides the user with tools for exam ordering, scheduling, film tracking, reporting and billing. The standards-based system leverages DICOM and HL7 to satisfy IHE requirements for interoperability with any number of clinical information systems.

A new series of system control features are now available on the Innova cardiovascular and interventional imaging systems. They include a new touchscreen and tableside controls designed to enhance productivity and ease of use for cardiologists. An integrated UPS continues fluoroscopy in the event of power interruption.
The system also features a robotic detector positioning technique, called Innova Sense, which uses non-contact proximity sensors to optimally position the detector and reduce patient exposure.

This syngo CardioFusion is for visualization of cardiac images from hybrid imaging technologies and optimizes the cardiac clinical workflow to enable enhanced diagnostic capabilities.

VoLumen helps maximize MDCT technology by overcoming the limitations of both neutral and positive oral contrast agents. It works with IV contrast to allow bowel wall visualization and delineation between lumen and soft tissue.

OXILAN (ioxilan) injection is a third-generation nonionic contrast medium offered by Guerbet in the U.S. It is a contrast agent used by radiologists, interventional radiologists and interventional cardiologists because of unique properties. It has low osmolality and viscosities among nonionic monomers in the U.S., which contributes to better patient outcomes such as patient comfort during intra-arterial injection and addresses physicians’ needs such as excellent image quality and easier injections.

NumaServer facilitates image communication beyond the department and enterprise. It can be configured to pull images automatically from any DICOM source on a network and to push images to any DICOM destination.

There are new enhancements to Web-based ThinkingPACS that provide specialized functionality in both nuclear medicine (NM) and PET.
Its new feature is the seamless integration with Emory Cardiac Toolbox, which provides comprehensive analysis of NM cardiology studies, from side-by-side rest and stress reconstruction to gated SPECT cine review. The company will also introduce quantitative analysis packages for both cardiac and brain imaging.

The standard version of PETLinQ is a Web-based tool for delivering PET images and reports to the referring physician’s desktop along with educational materials to guide in the use of PET. The PETLinQ SoftStation adds Clarity Solutions’ Clarity FUSION, an FDA-approved, PET/CT, full-functioned diagnostic viewer. The viewer is capable of displaying the full PET/CT dataset in transaxial, sagittal and coronal views, along with the fused dataset.
