The GEMINI TF features 16-slice and 64-channel Brilliance CT configurations.

GE Healthcare’s Discovery Dimension helps clinicians advance toward the goal of motion free PET/CT imaging by allowing the clinician to address imaging mismatches related to respiratory and cardiac motion. These include motion correction techniques that effectively improve clinical results and minimize blur caused by motion.

Gamma Medica-Ideas’ LumaGEM is a dedicated gamma camera used for diagnostic imaging, including Molecular Breast Imaging.
The LumaGEM system features fully solid-state digital detection reportedly utilizing eV Products’ cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) to provide superior resolution compared with the conventional scintillation camera technology traditionally used in gamma cameras. It also reportedly allows minimal dead space at the edges of the image, permitting the closest access to the chest wall.

The system allows clinicians to obtain images from virtually any position without moving the patient for improved comfort and faster exams, according to Toshiba.

Swissray’s ddRCompact, incorporates the new digital High Definition Silicon Solid State detector with Micro Lens Technology, reportedly delivering quality spatial resolution at low radiation dose, according to the company.

With an active detector area of over 17 inches (44 centimeters), the system reportedly satisfies all large-field imaging requirements and performs all DR applications on recumbent, standing and sitting patients including off-detector and off-center applications. All system movements are fully motorized and remote controlled for total user friendliness.

The new Fujifilm Unity SpeedSuite is a U-Arm DR system designed with motorized, multiposition single-detector flexibility. It is a reportedly cost-effective DR solution that is capable of performing both table-based and upright procedures. The system includes Fujifilm’s intuitive IIP workstation. The Unity SpeedSuite requires FDA clearance and is not currently available in the U.S.

Carestream Health’s newest DR platform, the KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR 9500 has a ceiling-mounted U-arm that contains both a tube and detector to deliver mobility.

The system features operational flexibility and easily moves around the patient to facilitate patient positioning and to enhance technologist convenience and productivity, according to the manufacturer. It is ideal for a wide variety of general radiography procedures and offers enhanced speed and comfort to patients with limited mobility, says the company.
