TeraMedica's Evercore SOAR (Service Oriented Architecture Repository) platform that uses industry standard Web services protocols which allow Evercore Clinical Information Manager (CIM) to operate as a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

The functionalities provided by the SOA were previously only available internally within Evercore or via more complex protocols such as DICOM or HL7. The platform reportedly allows hospitals and health care systems to choose the best-of-breed when shopping for modalities and departmental systems.

November 9, 2007 - The National Mammography Quality Assurance Advisory Committee advised that the FDA lift the current exemption of stereotactic breast biopsy from the MQSA regulations at a meeting held Nov. 5.
