November 1, 2007 - Siemens said today it is acquiring U.S.-based laboratory diagnostics company Dade Behring and hopes to close the transaction by Nov. 6.

Siemens is purchasing about 94 percent of the outstanding common stock of Dade Behring. After closing, Siemens officials said Dade Behring will be integrated in the existing business of Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc.

The 3D reconstruction product, named TDRS-7101, utilizes the computing power of Barco’s MXRT-7100 graphics board to deliver real-time reconstructions of raw CT images with high image quality.
