With the paperless solution, the patient enters her breast history and the information is automatically entered into her MagView electronic chart. The easy-to-use solution means even women with little computer experience can navigate the questionnaire. Information is securely uploaded to the patient’s MagView electronic record, eliminating the need for manual entry and providing clinicians immediate access to the data.

November 1, 2007 - Siemens said today it is acquiring U.S.-based laboratory diagnostics company Dade Behring and hopes to close the transaction by Nov. 6.

Siemens is purchasing about 94 percent of the outstanding common stock of Dade Behring. After closing, Siemens officials said Dade Behring will be integrated in the existing business of Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc.

The 3D reconstruction product, named TDRS-7101, utilizes the computing power of Barco’s MXRT-7100 graphics board to deliver real-time reconstructions of raw CT images with high image quality.
