With various widths and heights and adjustable shelf height within the unit, the company says it provides flexibility in creating a cart for smaller spaces as a lab, equipment or computer cart anywhere a heavy duty, small cart is needed.

February 12, 2008 - Wellsoft Corp. said today it entered into a national agreement with Premier Purchasing Partners to provide the Wellsoft Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) to emergency departments in Premier’s alliance of more than 1,550 member hospitals.

The maker says Wellsoft EDIS is designed by and for emergency department clinicians. Features include patient tracking, nursing and physician documentation, electronic orders and results, charge capture, and coding.

February 12, 2008 - Elekta Neuromag, noninvasive measurement technology for brain activity using Magnetoencephalography (MEG) technology, has been ordered by The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

The Nebraska Medical Center will receive its new Elekta Neuromag MEG system in the spring/summer of 2008. With the MEG system from Elekta installed, neurosurgeons, neurologists and other clinicians will be able to noninvasively record human brain activity in real time.

February 12, 2008 - A recent study found a significant increase in diagnostic accuracy when using Medipattern's B-CAD v2 on lesions less than 1 centimeter in size, based upon 100 confirmed biopsied cases, comparing the diagnostic accuracy of three reading scenarios: a single physician, double reading with two physicians and a single physician reading with B-CAD.
