Siemens Healthcare will highlight the Magnetom Essenza which features 30 mT/m gradients, reportedly delivering excellent image quality for all clinical applications, and the MAGNETOM Verio, which combines image quality at 3T field strength and a 70-centimeter open bore that aims to offer improved patient comfort in one solution.

The Somatom Definition reportedly eliminates the need for beta blockers and reduces radiation exposure by as much as 50 percent when compared to traditional cardiac CT imaging. The system features two X-ray sources at two different energy levels in simultaneous spiral scanning, allows clinicians to explore various scenarios for tissue characterization.

Also included is the syngo Webspace that offers real-time access to CT data at a doctor�s office or home, or on the road through a network connection.
