Metrologic Instruments Inc. will feature two new products, the MS7580 Genesis presentation area imager and the MS9590 VoyagerGS trigger-activated hand-held laser scanner, at the HIMSS 2008 Conference and Exhibition.

The MS9590 VoyagerGS is a hand-held, single-line laser scanner for various healthcare applications, including bedside medication verification.

Artromick's NX10 Mobile Computing WorkStation is a point-of-care computing cart, which was released in August 2007.

It reportedly delivers a flexible, lightweight and cost-effective solution for bedside data management. The NX10 is 20 percent lighter than the previous product releases. It has a stable and trim-line footprint, making it easy for nursing staff to maneuver through the most crowded corridors and patient rooms.

Pedigo will display its new 750 Series patient transport stretcher, featuring a full stainless steel side-rail system with integrated push-pull handles and a weight capacity of 750 pounds. Standard stretcher components, such as Pedigo’s new quick release oxygen tank holder (patent pending) and brake and steer foot pedals, are ergonomically designed and positioned to reduce caregiver fatigue and bending.
