April 9, 2008 − MediNotes Corp. this week released its latest version of its Web-based integrated electronic medical record (EHR) practice management (PM) solution MediNotes Clinician Spring R2.

MediNotes offers e-prescribing, patient portals, patient kiosks and image management. Among the new upgrades to MediNotes include payment links, electronic billing of secondary claims, an inventory control module, and a lab report sorting function.

April 8, 2008 – Students at Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington, IN, will be the first in the nation to be offered a highly specialized training program in proton therapy, an alternative to traditional radiation therapy that is emerging at treatment centers across the country, creating a demand for credentialed therapists.
