May 20, 2008 - As reimbursements have impacted the bottom line of surgery centers in the U.S., profitability has been attacked, making reprocessing a more attractive option, according to MEDISISS, a medical device reprocessing company that primarily serves outpatient facilities.

MEDISISS featured its reprocessing services at ASCs 2008 last week.

The company said reprocessing offers facilities a tool to enhance profitability while maintaining quality.
