March 23, 2020 — In response to the challenges faced by radiologic technology educational programs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Society of Radiologic Technologists has deployed a website aimed at providing critical content for radiologic technologists, educators and students.

The site offers links and resources to access updated COVID-19 information. The content also includes a free infection control course that provides continuing education credit, three additional short modules relevant to infection control and downloadable, printable handwashing and hand hygiene posters.

A Student and Educator Resources section includes 64 Radiography and 28 Radiation Therapy Clinical Refreshers, brief modules that summarize many common radiologic exams and procedures.

Educational programs across the country have moved to online classes to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Many have expressed a need for web-based content. The site will be updated as new resources and information become available. ASRT membership is not required to access the site.
