More than 100 speakers will take part in 30 sessions featuring patient perspectives, expert keynotes, panel discussions and treatment spotlights.
The program will examine the latest research and clinical adoption across a wide range of conditions, including essential tremor, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, psychiatric disorders, brain tumors, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, uterine fibroids, chronic pain and substance use disorders, among others.
Focused Ultrasound Technology
Focused ultrasound has received 12 FDA regulatory authorizations to date across 10 diseases and conditions in the US with 40 regulatory approvals worldwide. The technology is also in various stages of research, development, and clinical use for nearly 200 indications.
At the event, participants will hear from experts and patients across the focused ultrasound ecosystem, including many of the pioneers who helped transform the field from a promising idea into a technology that has treated more than one million patients worldwide.
“Over the past two decades, the field of focused ultrasound has advanced from a bold vision to a proven, widely used therapy that is changing lives every day,” said Foundation Chairman and Founder Neal F. Kassell, MD. “This event is a chance to bring our global community of stakeholders together to celebrate this incredible progress and chart what’s next.”
The event will also include a welcome reception, poster session featuring more than 100 posters, networking opportunities, and an evening dinner event celebrating "The Power of Sound."
