Three Palm Software announced the release of the 1.8.8 version of its breast imaging workstation, WorkstationOne. This release builds on the existing comprehensive support for mammography, with enhancements in several areas. An emphasis of this release is expanded custom display mechanisms for new mammography computer-aided detection (CAD) systems, decision support and breast density reports. This includes customized report display for approximately 20 different vendors (not all of which are available for clinical use yet).

November 23, 2011 — Three Palm Software and Matakina International Ltd. announced that WorkstationOne, a breast imaging workstation from Three Palm Software, is now integrated with the Volpara breast density software from Matakina.

September 1, 2011 — Three Palm Software, Totoku and U.S. Electronics announced they have signed a partnership agreement to develop a package of Totoku MS31i2 monitors with the WorkstationOne software from Three Palm. The monitors are capable of 9-megapixel (MP) resolution when driven by software that implements the independent sub-pixel drive (ISD) mechanism. WorkstationOne will provide this capability.

August 10, 2011 – Three Palm Software will support reading of digital mammograms on a single 10-megapixel high resolution monitor configuration at the workshop "16th Annual Mammography in Santa Fe," being held this week. All the major monitor vendors in the United States are participating at the workshop by providing display systems. Those vendors include NDSsi/DOME, Totoku/USEI, EIZO, WIDE/Double black Imaging, Barco, etc. The 10-megapixel mammography workstations will continue to be used in other mammography teaching courses, such as Dr. Tabar's course in Scottsdale. Ariz., this October.
