NexGenic, LLC, the developer of the image sharing solution ImageInbox, announced that its latest release includes cloud-based features for clinical specialists and hospital customers to provide comprehensive image tele-consultation services which can be rapidly integrated into existing clinical operations and workflows. RAD Technology Medical Systems (RAD) is adding two new patents to its portfolio of modular building technologies for cancer treatment facilities.  RAD has received patent approvals for their Temporary Radiotherapy Vault (TRV) from both the Japanese Patent Office and the European Patent Office.  These new patents protect the specialized means and methods that RAD uses to construct high-energy radiation vaults. RAD was issued two similar patents by the United States Patent Office last year.

In a corporate restructuring move to be unveiled at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2016 Annual Meeting, StatRad announced the formation of parent company NucleusHealth. The newly created entity will focus on expanding StatRad teleradiology services while commercializing new image streaming technology in a pure cloud-based solution for managing medical images under the soon-to-be-introduced nucleus.io brand.
