Consorta Inc. has announced a new purchasing agreement with Varian Medical Systems Inc. for advanced radiotherapy systems for treating cancer and neurological disorders. The agreement covers all of Varian’s equipment and software for image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), as well as Varian’s brachytherapy equipment and software.

Agfa HealthCare announced today that Pinnacle Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Specialists has purchased and will be installing Agfa's IMPAX for Orthopaedics at its eight offices in the Atlanta, GA area. Pinnacle will also install three of Agfa's CR 25.0 digitizers and software for full-leg, full-spine imaging creating a complete digital working environment, from image acquisition to storage and distribution of pre- and post-surgical planning data.
