Agfa’s DM Solution, offers users an option to only deal with a single vendor and has all the components of an integrated DR workflow, including: MAMMOMAT Novation; seamless integration with PACS/RIS; IMPAX Breast Imaging Workstation; and DRYSTAR printers.

Kodak will show its latest software upgrade, featuring new dynamic streaming capabilities directly into its diagnostic workstations. This technology offers fast and advanced visualization and 3-D tools to physicians reading extremely large studies over a variety of network speeds. This software upgrade also includes: specialized mammography features that interface with integrated breast MRI and ultrasound; CAD software; and automated CD/DVD archiving management capabilities focused on the entry-tier market.

IMPAX 6.0 is a Web-deployable image and information management solution, which will help streamline enterprise workflow and deliver increased efficiency and productivity to hospitals. When integrated with IMPAX RIS and Reporting solutions, IMPAX 6.0 can provide a consolidated view and centralized management of patient image and information data.

NovaRad Corp. has released NovaPACS 6.5 with enhanced administration console tools and increased tool availability on the referring physician viewer.
The additional administration console tool features enable better sorting, reporting and information gathering and viewing.
For the referring physician, the “Referring Physician Specialist Viewer” provides the complete set of tools that are available on the PACS workstations.

RADinfo Systems will showcase its PowerPACS Image Importer. The PowerPACS Image Importer is RADinfo’s DICOM image importing solution, which is fully compliant to IHE Portable Data for Imaging (PDI) and Import Reconciliation Workflow (IRWF) integration profile. The PowerPACS Image Importer brings new technologies to transferring external studies and integrating legacy archive systems into a facility’s local PACS.

Cerner’s unified RIS/PACS solution received several new enhancements, including a critical results documentation and notification solution that helps support JCAHO's National Patient Safety Goal, as well as order review and approval tools that help optimize this traditionally paper-based process. Cerner will also highlight the specialty clinical visualization software for mammography and orthopedics.

AMICAS Inc. has released Vision Series PACS Version 5.0, a release representing advancements to the company’s image management software platform.

Thinking Systems is debuting its new release of Web-based ThinkingRIS unified with its ThinkingPACS powered by a single database. Also debuting is its integration with Philips/Stentor iSite PACS to provide nuclear medicine, PET/CT, echo and cath lab solutions to iSite users. New products introduced include ModalityBroker for integrating specialty modalities to third-party enterprise PACS. New features introduced include: hanging protocols; key images and presentation state that are DICOM 2006 compliant; and cardiac PET and PET brain quantification analysis.

Dynamic Imaging will feature its digital mammography integration for the IntegradWeb PACS, which provides complete interpretation flexibility for radiologists.
Dynamic Imaging’s IntegradWeb PACS digital mammography capabilities include complete digital mammography specific workflows that include customizable reading layouts and sequences for any third-party full-field digital mammography system. IntegradWeb’s digital mammography functionality has been developed to support the new IHE mammography profile, including image manager and image display actors.

Included amongst Cedara’s suite of OEM/VAR solutions being showcased will be C4 (Cedara Clinical Control Center), a platform that allows clinical applications and plug-ins to be integrated into a single workstation, sharing system resources. While C4 can be used to quickly integrate clinical applications into any information system, it will be demonstrated at RSNA with Cedara’s Web PACS solution.
