Korean ultrasound vendor Medison unveiled its new SonoAce X8 ultrasound system, targeting the FDA-cleared device for hospitals, imaging centers and private physician offices.
SonoAce X8 combines “smart software” with advanced digital signal processing for increased diagnostic confidence and patient throughput. The system features high-resolution 3-D imaging, live 3-D, 3DXI, full spectrum imaging, dynamic MR and spatial compound imaging. It includes a high-resolution 17-inch LCD monitor with articulated arm. Medison hopes to have the X8 on the market early next year.
