March 6, 2007 — Stinger Medical has developed Mobius, the only mobile continuous power system that allows clinicians to exchange power modules on the fly without interrupting workflow.

Nurses pop the lightweight power pack into a compartment at the side of the mobile workstation and are free from workflow-inhibiting charging protocols, downtime caused by power system charging and equipment in the hallways. They simply work until the power is drained, then grab another power box from the nurses’ station, replace the used system for charging and continue on their way.

March 6, 2007 - Research recently presented at the thirty-second annual Scientific Meeting of the Society of Interventional Radiology shows that the non-surgical tumor treatment, radiofrequency ablation, reportedly heats and destroys nerve endings in painful tumors, preserving the patient's healthy bone, preventing major surgery and eliminating the need for lengthy rehabilitation and recovery.

March 6, 2007 - Array Corporation USA and Hologic, Inc. have recently entered into a supply agreement in which Array will provide a custom-built digitizer, developed for Hologic�s R2 DMax line of ImageChecker CAD and DigitalNow systems, that focuses on image processing, display and interpretation of CAD marks through medical picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) using the digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) standard.
