IntegradWeb PACS is a Web-based PACS for acute care and ambulatory institutions. The solution offers a single user interface across all viewers, single database, single OS, unlimited licensing for scale and COTS hardware for turnkey or software-only implementations. This portable imaging desktop is capable of handling large multi-thousand slice 64-slice CT studies with scanned documents, and integrated 3-D (MIP/MPR) on reportedly all viewers, even on CDs.

HP will be demonstrating its Medical Archiving Solution, HP MAS, a dedicated appliance for the long term archival and retrieval of medical images and documents. MAS combines hardware and software into a single appliance dedicated to the needs of the healthcare industry. MAS interfaces to PACS and patient record applications, and provides fast and cost effective retrieval of images and documents for long term archival.

With enhanced administration console tools and increased tool availability on the referring physician viewer the NovaPACS 6.5’s additional administration console tool features enable better sorting, reporting and information gathering and viewing. For the referring physician, the “Referring Physician Specialist Viewer” provides the complete set of tools that are available on the PACS workstations.

Eizo will display its 3-MP monitor designed for diagnosis in medical imaging applications, including PACS, chest radiology, CT and MRI, the RadiForce GX320 with an anti-reflective panel protector comes with a five-year warranty designed to reduce total cost of operation and guarantee the investment in the unit.

Providing 3:1 compression (vs. 2:1) for newly archived studies, the System Release 5.30 offers serviceability and capacity planning, storage analysis reports, network analysis reporting and server analysis reporting. Remote administration is available via Web interface, as well as archive explorer to view/edit patient, study and series image information. At PACS 2007, Cerner will showcase its unified RIS/PACS solution, which has received several new enhancements, including a critical results solution that helps support JCAHO's Patient Safety Goal.
Additionally, Cerner will highlight visualization software for Orthopedics, demonstrate EMR-integrated MultiMedia Foundation (MMF). With MMF, DICOM ECG objects are acquired and routed to the care provider.

McKesson Corp. and Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. have introduced Horizon Medical Imaging Store 100, a cost-effective mini-PACS solution. It enables smaller imaging centers to store data in a cost-effective way, without requiring an enterprise PACS system. Store 100 is compatible with Toshiba’s CT and ultrasound products, including the Aquilion CT product line and the Aplio XG, Nemio XG and Xario ultrasound products.
