March 26, 2007 - Agfa HealthCare announced today that with its integrated approach to cardiology information management and its Cardiovascular solution, it continues to intensify its efforts to meet and exceed the expectations of cardiac care customers.

The Cardiovascular solution includes cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and ECG (Electrocardiogram) data management, to create a single integrated cardiovascular information system.

March 26, 2007 - Royal Philips Electronics promises to equip customers who request it with integrated IVUS as the company announced that the Philips Allura Xper FD systems and the Volcano s5i suite of integrated IVUS systems by Volcano Corporation are compatibility, thus supplying clinicians with additional imaging to complement cardiovascular X-ray during catheterization (cath) lab procedures.

March 26, 2007 – The Ultrasound Division of Siemens Medical Solutions and U-Systems Inc. have entered into an agreement whereby Siemens will distribute U-Systems’ SomoVu automated breast ultrasound system internationally, as Siemens offers a solution to detect cancer in women with dense breast tissue in addition to mammography.
