October 24, 2007 - LifeScience PLUS Inc. said today the FDA approved its BloodSTOP product, which is a high-tech bandage that interacts with platelets to form a clear gel that instantaneously stops bleeding.

Made from natural cellulose, the hypoallergenic gauze is reportedly completely water-soluble, easily washing off without causing additional trauma to the wound area. BloodSTOP can easily be cut to fit difficult areas such as the mouth and nose. Also, because the gauze is transparent, medical professionals can easily monitor the wound.
