November 5, 2007 – Though San Antonio, TX-based Texas Cancer Clinic earned the 2007 Outpatient Excellence Award for Oncology Centers by Outpatient Care Technology and was featured in the magazine’s June/July 2007 edition, facility representatives formally received the award during the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology’s (ASTRO) annual meeting.

OPCT Editor Rick Dana Barlow presented Bradley R. Prestidge, M.D., Texas Cancer Clinic’s founder, president, CEO, medical director and radiation oncologist, with the award on Tuesday morning, Oct. 30.

November 5, 2007 - ImaRx Therapeutics Inc. and Royal Philips Electronics today announced a research collaboration to evaluate Philips ultrasound technology as part of ImaRx’s SonoLysis program to develop new treatment for acute ischemic stroke.

Under the agreement, Philips’ Medical Systems division will provide ultrasound devices and technical assistance to ImaRx during laboratory and preclinical studies. The objective of the collaboration is to determine the optimal ultrasound parameters to use with ImaRx’s proprietary MRX-801 microbubble technology.
