The MIDAS PACS complete digital imaging solution features dual archives, image gateway, image backup, diagnostic workstation software, a Web server, CD recorder/color labeler and clinical viewing. For safety, the system is contains HIPAA privacy and security features.

March 18, 2008 - SquareLoop Inc. today said it introduced a text messaging system on its Mobile Alert Network to enable secure transmission of data over public wireless networks, which complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act (HIPAA) regulations governing encryption of patients' electronic records.

The company said the system also provides an application for secure mobile-originated text messages.
