March 27, 2008 – Viztek installed two of its Web-based Opal-RAD PACS in health clinics in Southern Nigeria, in hopes of improving the detection of tuberculosis and the delivery of quality medical care in extremely remote geographic areas.

Sold and installed in cooperation with Texas-based medical equipment dealer CIMS, the new fully digital installations also include Kodak’s Point of Care (POC) 140 CRs, film digitizers and Quantum X-rays.

March 27, 2008 - Voyager Imaging installed its PACS at Memphis Lung Physicians Clinic located on the Baptist Memphis Hospital Campus, TN, connecting three sites including Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto Campus and Baptist Memorial Hospital Collierville Campus, allowing users to access images for clinical viewing, reading and reporting.

The access is achieved through a combination of Voyager’s Web client and its preemptive prefetching of studies over low to medium bandwidth connections.
