June 24, 2008 – Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. said today HealthPartners Medical Group of Indiana and Michigan have purchased IDC’s 1600 Plus X-Series DR system.

HealthPartners is a multi-specialty physician group with facilities in Michigan City, Chesterton, LaPorte, and Westville, IN and New Buffalo, MI. The system will be installed in the group’s new orthopedic facility in their Michigan City location.

June 24, 2008 – A radiation-free ultrasound exam of a women’s heel may predict if a woman is at an increased risk for fractures, according to a new multicenter study published in the July issue of the journal Radiology, finding that radiation free ultrasound of the heel may be used to better select women who need further bone density testing, such as a dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) exam.
