October 27, 2009 - At this year’s Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) 2009 annual meeting, Toshiba will demonstrate the patient-focused designs of its Vantage Titan and Vantage Atlas MR systems.

The Radrex-i mixed detector digital radiograph (DR) system, by Toshiba, has a 600-pound weight limit, a 600 kHU X-ray tube and an 80 kW generator. This lets hospitals image a variety of patients, including bariatric. Additionally, the user-friendly controls on the overhead X-ray tube allow access to generator functions at point of care to help improve patient care and productivity.

October 27, 2009 - During the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) 2009 annual meeting, Toshiba will introduce its new Hybrid Angiographic Table (works-in-progress) for its Infinix vascular X-ray product line. Designed for today’s advanced IR/OR suite, the hybrid table allows for head-to-toe and side-to-side tilting of the patient.

Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will showcase the improved InfinixTM VF-i/BP with large- and mid-size flat panel detectors. The system is designed to increase the flexibility and diagnostic capabilities in bi-plane vascular X-ray imaging.

October 27, 2009 - Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will unveil a new laptop ultrasound system at this year’s Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) annual meeting. The new Viamo (works-in progress) is the industry’s “no compromise” laptop ultrasound system with advanced radiology capabilities that are not available on hand carried systems.

The Aquilion CX is a next generation 64-detector row CT system. The Aquilion CX provides fast reconstruction times, creating up to 28 images per second. It also includes Quantum Advantage detector technology and a patient couch accommodating up to 660 lbs.
