February 15, 2011 – A successful pilot study found the feasibility of using computer-assisted surgical planning and patient-specific surgical guides in correcting lower limb malalignment. In the study, Materialise's SurgiCase Orthopaedics was used to describe lower limb malalignment and virtually plan multi-planar correction using computed tomography (CT) scans.

The Aero DR is a new wireless digital radiography (DR) system offering workflow improvements with a simple, easy-to-use console. It was featured at Konica Minolta's booth at RSNA 2010.

Eizo unveiled the newly expanded RadiForce line of medical imaging liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors at RSNA 2010. February 14, 2011 – The 3-D capabilities of a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) workstation were revealed at the Fifth Scanner Volumique Conference, held Jan. 24-25, in Nancy, France. The Carestream PACS was demonstrated at the event, which provides a platform for showing live demonstrations of the latest versions of CT image post-processing software.
