October 6, 2016 — Medic Vision is exhibiting at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA 2016) and will be highlighting its SafeCT-29 product.
The SafeCT product line enhances computed tomography (CT) images acquired with low-dose protocols. SafeCT-29 is the only U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved third-party solution that offers XR-29 functionality to help achieve Smart Dose Compliance, according to Medic Vision.
The SafeCT product line also includes SafeCT Enterprise and SafeCT Dose Reporting.
The SafeCT-29 product was recently endorsed by Philips Healthcare as a solution for customers that have computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET)/CT scanners that are not fully compliant with XR-29 standards and for which Philips does not offer an XR-29 update.
