July 25, 2007 - Outpatient Care Technology wants to recognize and highlight cancer treatment centers that creatively and effectively use intensity modulated and image guided radiation therapy (IMRT and IGRT) technology to deliver high-quality patient care. But we need you to tell us who these influential market leaders are. Please nominate as many worthy IMRT/IGRT cancer treatment centers as you’d like by clicking on the green button in the left-hand column of the front page of OPCT Online (www.opctonline.net). Based on the nominations we receive from you, we’ll select five to profile on why they are so successful. Look for the green button on the left and vote often. Nominations must include measurable and tangible details in customer service, innovation, operational efficiency and teamwork. But hurry; the deadline for consideration is Monday, July 30.

At the 2019 American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) annual meeting, being held Sept. 15-18 in Chicago, Varian announced Ethos therapy, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven holistic solution designed to increase the capability, flexibility and efficiency of radiotherapy. This new solution is designed to deliver an entire adaptive treatment in a typical 15-minute timeslot, from patient setup through treatment delivery.
