Onmark Introduces Web-Based Tool for Community Oncology Practices

Onmark, a national group purchasing organization (GPO) for community-based practices, has announced the launch of Onmark Regimen Profiler, a new Web-based tool that helps community oncology practices and patients gain a better understanding of clinical and financial information for commonly-used oncology treatment regimens.
The Onmark Regimen Profiler offers a number of features and benefits. The tool: is pre-loaded with more than 120 commonly-used, referenced and evidence-based drug regimens and their associated administration codes; is pre-loaded with practice-specific drug pricing information from OTN that is updated on a daily basis, ensuring accurate cost calculations; is pre-loaded with the most recent ASP 6 percent reimbursement numbers from CMS, including the new numbers for Q3 2006; generates patient-friendly reports to proactively educate patients about their out-of-pocket financial responsibility for different treatments they may receive; downloads data to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, providing easy-to-read reports for analysis; is accessible any time through Onmark’s Web site, and does not require any onsite technology; and is available as a complimentary service from Onmark to its members.
