Now users of MIMvista Corp.’s MIMcontouring software can simultaneously fuse multiple modalities with the planning CT allowing contours to be created on any fused image. Contours created on one image apply to all images.True 3D contouring allows users to create and edit contours in any plane on any image. Tools include 2D/3D paintbrush, automatic PET edge detection, and PET SUV & threshold contouring.CT tools include Body Contour and Region Grow, for normal structure segmentation in seconds. These new features reportedly enhance patient care, streamline physician workflow, free-up planning station resources and provide output in standard DICOM RT Struct for export to planning stations.
