Dec. 3, 2024 — MedDream recently announced the integration of the MedDream DICOM Viewer with AWS HealthImaging.

The MedDreamUniversal DICOM Viewer integration with AWS HealthImaging, a service from Amazon Web Services (AWS), was showcased at  RSNA 2024 in Chicago. Because of this integration, in case of a PACS disruption, physicians can access studies directly through the MedDream DICOM Viewer, thus allowing for uninterrupted diagnostics, patient care and operational efficiency.

“We are excited about working with AWS to leverage AWS HealthImaging,” says Tomas Dumbliauskas, MedDream CEO. “Med Dream’s Universal DICOM Viewer enables healthcare professionals to access medical images anytime, from any device, ensuring continuous availability. Integrated with AWS HealthImaging, MedDream supports seamless image exchange between healthcare institutions, facilitates image sharing, enhances telemedicine workflows, and enables robust disaster recovery capabilities. This demonstrates our commitment to fast, secure, and reliable diagnostics and patient care.”

The MedDream HTML5 zero-footprint DICOM Viewer is vendor neutral and currently integrated by more than 500 OEMs, integrators and distributors worldwide. It is FDA cleared for diagnostic use and certified as a Class IIB medical device in accordance with the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR). Certifications and registrations for many other countries underline the high quality, safety standards and MedDream’s commitment to providing trusted, reliable solutions to healthcare providers worldwide.
