NeuroLogica Corp. has received the ETL product safety mark from Intertek Testing Serices, Inc., allowing entry of the NL3000 CereTom into medical facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Neurologica can now apply for the European CE mark and the medical CB mark.
The CereTom mobile CT scanner is lightweight, can be brought to the bedside and used in any hospital room or clinic bay. The scanner is capable of performing normal CT, perfusion, Xenon perfusion and angiography. It is designed for use in any medical clinic, and in the near future its capabilities will be expanded to facilitate use by orthopedic surgeons and dental specialists.
