August 2, 2010 - Gulmay Medical, a designer and manufacturer of a range of superficial and orthovoltage radiotherapy systems in over 500 clinics for the past 15 years, has announced that it is becoming Xstrahl Limited, effective immediately.

This move will enable radiation therapy and pioneer research as well as the commercialization of the SARRP research platform. SARRP is the most advanced X-ray system delivering a state-of-the-art Image Guided Micro-Irradiation (IGMI) technique for preclinical and radiation biology research.

Xstrahl’s SARRP research platform is transforming our understanding of radiation therapy as well as providing the most advanced preclinical platform for validating the efficacy of advanced radiation therapies. In addition, Xstrahl has facilitated in vitro and in vivo radiation based research studies by providing a range of X-ray irradiation cabinets.
