Since its introduction in 2002, Elekta Synergy as been installed at numerous cancer centers worldwide, and according to the company, has made a clear difference, to the benefit of patients, as well as the satisfaction of clinicians.
The combination of high-resolution imaging, taken in 3-D and at the time of treatment – combined with workflow solutions developed to be applicable on a routine basis – is described as ‘4-D Adaptive’ and is the Elekta IGRT solution.
