Bioptics to Demo Core Vision Radiography System

June 11, 2009 - Bioptics will demo its Core Vision Radiography System at the Society of Nuclear Medicine, June 13-17, 2009 in Toronto, Ontario. The company recently received 510K cleared to use Core Vision Radiography System in core biopsy analysis.

The Core VISION is the first specimen radiography system dedicated to analyzing core biopsy samples that has received 510K approval. The Core VISION is small, simple to operate and has been ergonomically designed to speed the workflow during biopsy procedures and the results can be readily viewed by various clinicians through their standard PACS network and offers the highest resolution of any product in its class. The Core VISION is radiation shielded, interlocked and can be readily deployed in stereotactic procedure rooms.

The Core VISION complements the company's range of specimen radiography products and is said to enhance workflow during core biopsy procedures at a very cost effective price.
