Agfa HealthCare's CR 30-X is a tabletop computed radiography solution. The compact digitizer offers comparable efficiency and image quality that users expect in full floor-size models, the company said.

The single plate CR 30-X integrates to local PACS networks, allowing imaging professionals to maximize the value of their existing or future PACS. It is being touted as an affordable entry into digital imaging and as a way to cost-effectively add remote areas to the digital network.

Agfa’s NX workstation is included with the CR 30-X. The system is now commercially available.

A lower-cost version was introduced at RSNA 2010.
